Gameplay guide
Chang'e is a mobile mid-lane artillery mage whose repeated hits stack up to 20% movement-speed reduction. Crescent Moon supplies a persistent shield, movement, and extra projectiles; while it remains intact, Starmoon Shockwave and the 30-hit Meteor Shower gain substantial additional damage and coverage.
Acquire Crescent Moon first, keep its shield intact, and use enhanced basic attacks to clear efficiently. Aim Starmoon Shockwave manually and use the movement burst after casting to rotate or dodge rather than standing still.
Approach Turtle from behind allies and cast Meteor Shower only while Crescent Moon is active. Align it with a choke or allied crowd control, move during the channel to track the line, and exploit its extra creep damage to secure tempo on objectives.
Stay at full range and rebuild Crescent Moon before a decisive fight if it is broken. Stack Trouble Maker through repeated hits, direct Meteor Shower through clustered or controlled enemies, and preserve movement to evade a flank.
Protect Crescent Moon before an objective because it strengthens movement and the next damage window; while the shield is active, Starmoon Shockwave gains extra spheres that widen the line and stack more slow.
Fire Meteor Shower from a diagonal line that follows the enemy retreat or objective pit, making it harder to escape sideways.
Cast Crescent Moon when available before committing so its enhanced spheres, shield, and movement speed are active. Slow the target with Starmoon Shockwave, track them while channeling Meteor Shower, and use the extra movement speed either to keep the meteor line connected or escape approaching danger.
Spread, Spread creates control during Meteor Shower, preventing Chang'e from completing the cast without interruption.
Chang'e's ranged pressure loses value because Guardian's Reflection blocks and reflects the incoming projectiles.
