Weapon Mastery: After each weapon swap, his next 2 Basic Attacks gain extra Attack Speed and deal 70% and 55% Crit Damage respectively. He also gains 15% Movement Speed for 1s.
Gameplay guide
Yi Sun-shin is a jungle assassin-marksman who swaps automatically between bow and glaive by target distance. Every weapon swap empowers the next two basic attacks and grants movement speed; Blood Floods and Mountain Shocker also trigger Weapon Mastery directly. Traceless adds a brief Control-Immunity dash whose cooldown falls whenever Weapon Mastery activates.
Practice swapping at the glaive range indicator and consume both empowered attacks before changing again while learning. Use Blood Floods to trigger Weapon Mastery during clear, and keep Traceless for a known control skill or failed gank. Reach the first objective with Mountain Shocker available for global information.
Cast Mountain Shocker before Turtle or an invade to reveal every rotation, then drive the ship into a controlled target. Use two empowered attacks, Traceless through a predicted control window, trigger another pair with Blood Floods, and reposition rather than staying in one weapon range.
Use global vision before committing to Lord or a flank. Alternate bow and glaive only when the movement is safe; ranged charged arrows can pressure before contact. Preserve Traceless for the decisive control effect and do not chase beyond an escape path merely to trigger another swap.
Change weapon range deliberately between attacks; repeating the same range wastes Weapon Mastery's strongest damage and cooldown value.
Blood Floods and Mountain Shocker can activate Weapon Mastery directly, giving Yi Sun-shin another enhanced attack window without first changing range.
Use Mountain Shocker before an objective or invade to reveal enemy positions, even when its damage will not secure a kill.
Reveal positions, land the ship's control, then use the two guaranteed passive attacks from the ultimate. Blood Floods triggers another pair, and repeated Weapon Mastery activations shorten Traceless for an exit.
Move into glaive rangeThe charged arrow opens safely and triggers Weapon Mastery. Consume the pair, change weapon range deliberately for another pair, then leave through the brief control-immune dash.
