Gameplay guide
Lancelot is a high-mechanics jungle assassin whose dashes build up to 30% increased damage. Puncture resets when its first contact is an unmarked enemy, while Thorned Rose and Phantom Execution make him untargetable or invincible during precisely timed damage windows.
Prioritize clean farming and guard against invades rather than forcing weak early duels. Use distinct jungle units or minions to stack Soul Cutter and extend Puncture, but avoid marking the only unit required for the return path.
Attack from an unexpected Puncture line and center Thorned Rose on the priority target. Track Sword Marks visually, preserve a reset for disengagement, and combine Thorned Rose with Retribution when securing Turtle or Lord.
Wait for targeted control to be spent and never enter through the obvious front. Build dash stacks on safe units where possible, burst the carry, and use the invincibility of Thorned Rose or Phantom Execution to cross a dangerous response rather than only for damage.
During an extended fight, watch Puncture marks expire before routing through the same units again.
Place the target at Thorned Rose's center so all three strikes connect, then use its untargetable window to avoid the expected response.
Route through separate unmarked minions or heroes and leave one unmarked unit behind the fight for a reset-based exit.
Every approach target must be unmarked when first hit. Save a different unit or route for the exit so the final Puncture resets instead of going on cooldown beside the enemy team.
Leading with the ultimate reaches a distant squishy target with invincibility. It sacrifices some fully stacked ultimate damage in exchange for a safer entry and keeps Puncture available for two planned resets.
