Vexana and her Eternal Guard inflict Nether Touch on enemies hit. The mark lasts 5s and causes the affected enemy to explode upon death, dealing 108-500 (+60% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage to nearby enemies (base damage scales with level).
Gameplay guide
Vexana is a mid-lane control mage with fast wave clear, long-range area damage, and an independent summon. Nether Touch makes marked units explode when they die, while Deathly Grasp, Cursed Blast, and Eternal Guard let her chain fear, knock-up, and delayed burst from a safe position.
Use Cursed Blast and Nether Touch explosions to clear quickly, poke, and move before the opposing mid laner. Deathly Grasp can harass through minions, but keep it ready when enemy locations are unknown because it is also Vexana's only immediate self-peel.
Rotate from fog and aim Deathly Grasp where the target is moving, not where it currently stands. Around Turtle and turrets, place Eternal Guard on clustered enemies or the route they must cross, then layer Cursed Blast while the knock-up or fear holds them.
Stay behind the front line and use bushes or vision denial to hide the slow animations. Do not spend Eternal Guard on the first visible tank unless it secures an objective or decisive catch; its knock-up, sustained body, and maximum-HP damage are most valuable in a full fight.
Send the Guard toward the route enemies need, not simply the nearest hero, so its knock-up and presence affect the fight.
Reposition the Eternal Guard onto a retreat path or objective entrance instead of letting it chase the nearest tank away from the fight.
Mark a low minion near the enemy with Charmed Specter so its death explosion pressures the hero from behind the wave.
Fear prevents the target from sidestepping the Guard's arrival, and the ensuing knock-up buys time for the delayed blast to land. Reposition the Guard afterward if the fight moves away from it.
Lead with the wider knock-up when several enemies are clustered, then chain fear and delayed damage. This is easier to land at a choke or after allied setup than in open space.
