Bane infuses his weapon with a stack of Power of Tide each time he uses a skill (up to 2 stacks). Each of his subsequent Basic Attacks consumes a stack to deal Physical Damage equal to (+95% Total Physical Attack) plus 4(+0.4*Hero Level)% of the target's Max HP to nearby enemies.
Gameplay guide
Bane is a jungle or EXP-lane fighter-mage whose physical and magic scaling support different builds. Every skill grants a Power of Tide stack, and each following basic attack consumes one for maximum-HP physical splash damage. Crab Claw Cannon supplies physical poke, Sea Ink supplies healing, movement and charged magic damage, and Deadly Catch provides area control and turret damage.
Use Crab Claw Cannon through a front minion when its bounce can reach the enemy hero, and consume Power of Tide attacks on the wave or opponent instead of wasting full stacks. Sea Ink sustains difficult trades and supplies movement to approach or leave. Farm toward level four before forcing an extended fight.
Open a coordinated fight with Deadly Catch so its airborne and slow make follow-up reliable. Use Crab Claw Cannon from range, then weave an empowered attack when safe. Charge Sea Ink only when enemy movement is constrained; release earlier if waiting would miss or expose Bane.
Pressure waves and turrets without arriving late to Lord. Deadly Catch can zone a choke, interrupt an engage, or damage a structure after a won fight. Choose safe ranged pressure over walking into control merely to consume a passive stack, and use Sea Ink's lost-HP healing before re-entering.
After a short trade, preserve Ale for recovery or Movement Speed unless its charged release will clearly finish the target.
Target a minion or creep beside the enemy with Crab Claw Cannon so the stronger bounce reaches the hero without giving them a direct aiming line to dodge.
Spend a Shark Bite stack before casting the next low-cooldown skill when safe, preventing Bane from wasting stacks at the two-stack limit.
Use the sharks to knock up and slow, add ranged damage, and weave empowered attacks only while targets are reachable. Sea Ink restores health before its second cast; charge the spit according to how long the target remains controlled.
