After traveling 5 units, Chou deals 180% damage on his next Basic Attack (cannot Crit), briefly slows the target by 90% and reduces their Physical Defense by 10(+1*Hero Level) for 3s (up to 2 stacks).
Gameplay guide
Chou is an EXP-lane or roam fighter who combines repeated short movement, control immunity, and targeted displacement. Traveling five units charges Only Fast for an empowered slow and Physical Defense reduction. Jeet Kune Do's third cast knocks up and resets Shunpo when it hits a hero, creating the opening to reposition and kick a priority target with The Way of Dragon.
If roaming, identify the enemy jungle path, help mid gain priority, and prepare the first two Jeet Kune Do casts outside vision. In EXP lane, charge Only Fast through movement and weave the empowered attack into short trades. Use Shunpo through a known control skill and avoid spending the full combo without a favorable kick direction.
Move ahead of allies but remain in fog. Prepare two strikes, Shunpo across the remaining distance, land the third knock-up, then use the refreshed Shunpo to move to the far side before kicking the target toward your team. Prioritize the mage, marksman, or objective jungler rather than a tank who wants to stand in front.
One isolated carry can decide Lord, but a failed visible engage can also end the game. Wait for enemy control or defensive skills, confirm ally range, and use Flicker only when the extended third strike has a clear target and kick route. Chou can also hold the ultimate to peel a diver away from his own carry.
Prepare Jeet Kune Do before leaving fog so the visible approach contains less warning before the knock-up.
Time Shunpo through a predictable disable so Chou keeps his approach instead of spending the Control Immunity before the enemy reacts.
Check where the ultimate's second kick will leave Chou as well as the target; do not deliver an enemy carry if the follow-through strands Chou behind their team.
Prepare the first two strikes, use Shunpo to close and cross control, then land the third strike to refresh Shunpo. Reposition to the desired side during the knock-up and kick the target toward allies before using the second ultimate stage.
Flicker during cast 3Flicker changes or extends the landing of the third strike. Use the refreshed Shunpo to establish the kick angle; practice the cast timing before relying on it in a match.
