Gameplay guide
Cecilion is a long-range mid-lane scaling mage whose successful skill hits permanently add ten Max Mana and whose damage scales from that Mana. Bat Impact becomes expensive when spammed but deals its strongest hit near the fixed landing point; Sanguine Claws groups enemies for that precise impact.
Prioritize Overflowing stacks without missing mid farm. Use only one or two Bat Impact casts in a six-second window to preserve Mana, target minions or safe creeps when no hero is available, and stand at the distance that places the landing point on the target.
Return to mid after rotations and help Turtle from behind the front line. Lead with Sanguine Claws or allied control, then place Bat Impact's endpoint on grouped enemies; use the one-second speed burst to kite after every cast.
Remain at maximum effective range and punish choke points with accumulated Mana scaling. Activate Bats Feast when a diver or slow threatens positioning, heal through bolt hits, and use Flicker or Purify rather than stepping forward into the enemy formation.
Let Bat Impact's escalating Mana cost reset between poke cycles so one unnecessary cast does not weaken the next fight.
Hit heroes with Bat Impact while clearing whenever the angle is safe, building permanent Mana without abandoning wave control.
Stay far enough away for Bat Impact's landing zone to reach the target; enemies who stand on Cecilion deny his easiest damage.
Move at bonus speedThe delayed claws group and immobilize for one second, making the fixed high-damage landing area reliable while limiting escalating Mana cost.
