Lapu-Lapu accumulates 10 Bravery Blessing each time he deals damage (halved for damage dealt to non-hero units). When Bravery Blessing is full, Lapu-Lapu's next Basic Attack will make him dash toward the target, dealing (+150% Total Physical Attack) Physical Damage (cannot Crit) and granting him a shield that absorbs 250 (+65*Hero Level) damage for 2.5s.
Gameplay guide
Lapu-Lapu is an EXP-lane fighter who builds Bravery Blessing by dealing damage, then spends the full bar through an empowered basic attack that dashes and grants a shield. Bravest Fighter changes his entire active kit into Great Sword skills for ten seconds, adding defenses, control, damage reduction, and a control-immune three-part ultimate.
Use Justice Blades from range to secure the first waves and hit enemies with both the outgoing and returning blades when possible. In difficult matchups, keep Jungle Warrior available to disengage and prioritize level four over a risky trade. Arrive at the first Turtle with Bravest Fighter ready rather than chasing after a cut wave.
Clear or cut only when enemy positions are known, then rotate toward the next objective. Target the marksman, mage, or squishy jungler; against a tank jungler, pressure a damage dealer unless Retribution must be denied. After transforming, use Storm Sword early and aim it through several heroes to maximize damage reduction.
Approach from a flank and wait for enemy displacement or suppression to be committed. Bravest Fighter can cross space, but landing on the front tank with no route to the back line wastes the transformation. Keep weaving empowered basic attacks when targets remain in range, and use Raging Slash's control immunity deliberately rather than immediately.
Wait for displacement or suppression to be used before entering, because Great Sword defenses do not prevent those skills from stopping the dive.
Build Bravery Blessing on the wave before committing so the first hero hit immediately grants the shield needed for the dive.
Plan where the final Great Sword movement ends and keep enough distance from enemy reinforcements to leave when the heavy form expires.
Throw the blades before landing with Bravest Fighter, then immediately hit heroes with Storm Sword for damage reduction. Weave basic attacks when the target cannot escape to trigger passive damage and shields, then use the stun and control-immune slashes.
Flicker before the slamDuring Great Sword stance, begin Land Shaker outside the target's expected range and Flicker before the slam to relocate the hit. This spends the main escape tool, so use it only when teammates can follow.
