When Alpha uses a skill, Beta will be summoned to attack. Enemies that are hit by Beta 2 time(s) will be Locked On .
Locked On: After Alpha deals damage to the target, Beta will fire a laser at them, dealing 80 (+80% Extra Physical Attack) (+8*Hero Level) True Damage and briefly applying a powerful slow effect.
This skill only deals 75% damage to Creeps.
Gameplay guide
Alpha is a jungle or EXP-lane fighter whose skills direct Beta to add true damage. Two Beta hits Lock On to a target; every later Alpha damage instance then calls a Beta laser for true damage and a strong brief slow. Spear of Alpha begins with Beta's stun, carries enemies to the landing point, and finishes with five additional Beta strikes.
Secure farm and level four, using Rotary Impact for ranged slow and Beta's first hit, then Force Swing across the wave and hero for healing and a second Beta hit. Do not overextend before Spear of Alpha. In jungle, keep health high and choose a gank where the carry direction leads toward allied damage.
Aim Spear of Alpha through the target toward a safe landing, then use Force Swing while the enemy is slowed and grouped at the endpoint. Rotary Impact maintains Lock On and spacing. At Turtle, decide whether the ultimate should displace the enemy jungler or hold an approaching carry rather than spending it solely for damage.
Enter with ally follow-up and avoid carrying a tank into your own back line. Lock On the highest-value reachable target and keep applying Alpha damage so Beta continues firing. Use Force Swing through multiple heroes or minions when its healing is necessary to survive the front edge.
Start Spear of Alpha only when the landing point remains favorable; carrying enemies into safety can ruin the follow-up.
Aim Rotary Impact and Force Swing so Beta's follow-up line crosses the target; the skill hit alone is only part of Alpha's pressure.
Use Force Swing when multiple units are inside the fan to increase its healing, especially when a minion wave joins the fight.
The ultimate's Beta dive and repeated landing attacks rapidly prepare Lock On. Swing while enemies are controlled for healing, then alternate damage sources so every hit continues calling Beta lasers.
RetreatUse the wave to increase Force Swing healing while both Beta follow-ups establish Lock On. Take only the short slowed trade because Alpha lacks a reliable escape before the ultimate.
