With his Basic Attacks resonated with the Abyss Power within his body, Brody is able to move while winding up his Basic Attacks (which will be interrupted when casting skills), at the cost of having longer Basic Attack Animation and lower Attack Speed Bonus. Each Basic Attack deals (+140% Total Physical Attack) (+45*Hero Level) Physical Damage (of which the damage scaling with level cannot be critical), increases Movement Speed by 30% (which will decay rapidly in 1.2s), and applies 1 stack of Abyss Mark on the enemy, capped at 4 stacks.
Each stack of Abyss Mark increases Brody's damage against the target by 5% and his Movement Speed by 5%.
Gameplay guide
Brody is a gold-lane burst marksman who can move while winding up slow, heavy basic attacks. Every Abyss Mark adds 5% damage against that target and movement speed; Torn-Apart Memory consumes up to four marks for additional damage per stack based on the target's lost HP.
Use heavy basics and movement bursts to control spacing, and aim Abyss Impact through minions before the enemy hero for additional marks and slow. Do not cancel a nearly completed basic wind-up with a rushed skill.
Rotate after clearing and mark several enemies before Torn-Apart Memory. Use Corrosive Strike to stun a vulnerable hero, then immediately direct the second movement toward safety while continuing basics from range.
Remain behind the front line and build four marks on the nearest safe target. Cast the ultimate when marked enemies have already lost meaningful HP; consuming four marks too early sacrifices the 16%-lost-HP component.
After Corrosive Strike connects, steer the follow-up movement toward safety rather than automatically passing behind the target.
Keep repositioning during Brody's Basic Attack wind-up, using the movement to maintain range rather than standing still until the shot fires.
Use Torn-Apart Memory after marked enemies lose meaningful HP or begin leaving range; casting at full health wastes its execution scaling.

Reposition
Weave rather than cancel basics, reach four marks through the available hits, and delay the ultimate until its per-stack lost-HP scaling has execution value.

Every preceding unit increases the hero's slow and mark count, allowing a high-stack follow-up without entering for Corrosive Strike.
