Chip starts eating potato chips once every 2s when out of combat, regenerating HP equal to 300 plus 45% of lost HP after finishing a whole bag (requires 4 bites). After eating a bag of chips, Chip will be full and cannot eat again for 5s. (The bite count will be saved if he enters combat before finishing a whole bag.)
Gameplay guide
Chip is a roaming tank who sustains out of combat, travels between four fixed Beacons, and creates portals that let both teams join or leave a fight. His basic combo marks several enemies, then detonates every mark with one ranged basic for area stuns.
Use Beacons out of combat to appear in lanes quickly, trade with Crash Course plus its marked basic, then leave combat long enough to finish Snack Time. Track which enemy heroes are missing before opening a portal.
Place Shortcut on an enemy or objective position only when allies can safely connect; call the engage before casting. Use Overtime to arrive with speed, Crash Course through multiple heroes, and detonate all marks with the empowered basic.
Treat every portal as a team-wide commitment. Create a protected arrival point, account for enemies using it, and preserve the Main Portal long enough for a return when the fight is won or must be abandoned.
Account for enemies entering Shortcut too; place the arrival where allies gain position without opening a path directly onto the back line.
Begin Overtime outside enemy vision so its speed peaks before Chip appears, making the knockback attack a less predictable gank opener.
Use fixed Beacons to arrive before an objective and establish vision; teleporting after the fight starts may leave Chip too late to protect the first target.

Overtime closes distance; Crash Course then grows Chip's shield for each hero and the next basic stuns all marked enemies.
Allies enter Connecting Portals
The portal creates the numbers advantage, but coordination and a safe Main Portal location are essential because both teams can travel through it.
