Upon death, Diggie reverses time and turns back to egg form, in which he can continue to move around and gains a new set of skills. He cannot be targeted in egg form and will revive after a period of time.
Gameplay guide
Diggie is a roam support who stores homing bombs, anchors enemies to a previous location, and answers mass control with an allied cleanse, shield, and Control Immunity. After death he becomes an untargetable egg that can scout until revival, but dying still removes half his Dangerous Sparks.
Escort the lane most vulnerable to pressure, place bombs in likely approaches rather than directly on the wave, and build Dangerous Sparks through safe hero hits. Use Reverse Time on an engager or fleeing target and place bombs around the return point.
Arrive before Turtle, stack bombs in separate useful positions so one tank cannot clear every threat, and keep Time Journey available while the enemy's major control is unused. In egg form, follow mobile enemies for vision but move to a safe revival location before the timer ends.
Stay close enough to cleanse the allied damage dealer without standing on top of them. Pre-place bombs around Lord approaches, anchor divers with Reverse Time, and activate Time Journey in response to or immediately before the control chain that would decide the fight.
Save Time Journey for the decisive disable, then place bombs along the retreat instead of spending them after allies are already safe.
Stack Auto Alarm Bombs along the enemy's likely entrance or retreat, not all in one visible spot they can avoid before the fight.
In egg form, follow the enemy assassin or jungler to maintain vision and interrupt recalls while avoiding the moment Diggie is about to revive.
Additional bomb along likely escapeAllied follow-up when target returnsReverse Time makes the original location predictable. Place the bomb there so the pull returns the target into damage instead of throwing every bomb directly at its current movement.
