Joy becomes Angry! each time her skill hits a non-Minion enemy, dealing 100 (+80% Total Magic Power) Magic Damage and increasing her Movement Speed by 60% that decays over 4s (hitting the Leonin Crystal will also grant the Movement Speed effect). This effect has a cooldown of 4s for each target.

Gameplay guide
Joy is a mobile magic assassin whose dash can be recast up to four times after hitting an enemy or her Leonin Crystal. Casting each recast on the beat doubles its damage, grants a shield, and builds Beat Energy for an eight-pulse ultimate whose power depends on rhythmic execution.
Use Look, Leonin Crystal! to slow a target and guarantee the first dash-chain reset, and practice the visual or audio beat rather than mashing recasts. In jungle, exploit her strong level-two clear and passive movement burst to rotate earlier than slower farmers.
Prepare two or three Beat Energy on a safe unit before entering when possible, then redirect later dashes through the intended carry. Do not die insisting on a perfect setup: even a partially charged ultimate can finish or create an escape, but three energy is required for the cleanse and Slow Immunity.
Wait for dangerous control to be shown, use terrain and dash anchors to approach from an unexpected angle, and preserve accurate beat timing under pressure. Stay close for all eight pulses without following a target so far that the post-ultimate exit becomes impossible.
Build Beat Energy on a safe unit before entering, but accept a partial setup when waiting would miss the entire fight.
Dash on beat even when the shortest route is available, because accurate rhythm prepares more ultimate pulses and defensive value.
Dash through the Leonin Crystal when no hero is safely reachable, continuing Joy's rhythm without using an enemy as the next beat target.
Three on-beat recasts through valid targets
The crystal safely enables the first reset; each subsequent on-beat cast adds damage, shield, and Beat Energy before the fully prepared ultimate.
Pre-stacking shortens the exposed setup inside the fight. The crystal can then provide another slow or anchor while the ultimate's pulses continue.
