Upon retrieving the Seimei Umbrella , Kagura gains a 450 (+80% Total Magic Power) shield, stuns nearby enemies for 0.5s, and slows them by 60% for 1s. Cooldown: 4.5s.
Gameplay guide
Kagura is a mid-lane mage whose skills change depending on whether she is holding the Seimei Umbrella. With the umbrella, she has a self-cleanse and dash; with it deployed, she gains a teleport and a delayed pull combo. Her play revolves around placing the umbrella accurately, tracking which version of each skill is available, and preserving an escape after committing.
Prioritize Seimei Umbrella Open and use its maximum range to clear and poke without walking into retaliation. Leaving the umbrella near the opponent can shorten the next cast's travel and make the poke harder to read, but it also temporarily gives up your cleanse, so retrieve it when the enemy can engage. Farm safely until level four and avoid spending your escape merely to deal minor damage.
Clear the wave before rotating, then use the umbrella to check and control narrow approaches around Turtle and jungle entrances. Start a full combo only when Seimei Umbrella Open connects or the target is already controlled. During the delayed pull from the deployed ultimate, reposition the umbrella so the target remains inside the effect, then decide whether teleporting in is safe.
Play outside the enemy's immediate engage range and pressure carries with umbrella poke. Do not teleport to the umbrella just because the pull lands: first account for enemy control, defensive skills, and your held-form retreat. In a full team fight, the passive stun and knockback can protect Kagura as well as extend her burst, so preserve the final dash when it is needed to disengage.
Do not teleport to a landed umbrella automatically; first check enemy control and where the held-form dash can take you afterward.
Send Seimei Umbrella Open into a bush before walking through it; the umbrella can expose or pressure the area while Kagura remains at range.
Keep Rasho Umbrella Flee's held-umbrella cleanse for the enemy's important control instead of spending it for routine movement.
The deployed ultimate resets the first skill. Move the umbrella during the delay so the target is pulled and damaged, teleport in after the pull to retrieve it and trigger the passive, then use the held ultimate and dash away.
Hit with the umbrella, teleport to it only when the approach is safe, and trigger Yin Yang Gathering as you retrieve it. Use the held-umbrella dash to leave before the opponent can trade back.
