Ruby's skills have a 75% Spell Vamp Ratio (her Basic Attacks cannot trigger Lifesteal). For every 1% HP lost, her Spell Vamp Ratio increases by 1%, up to 150%.
After each skill cast, Ruby can dash to another location and gain 8-25 Physical & Magic Defense (scales with level) for 4s (stacks up to 3 times).
Gameplay guide
Ruby is an EXP-lane crowd-control fighter whose skills use Spell Vamp instead of basic-attack Lifesteal. As her HP falls, her Spell Vamp ratio rises from 75% to as high as 150%. Every skill also enables a directional dash and grants stacking defenses, so her sustain, spacing, and control all depend on using the post-cast movement deliberately.
Use Be Good! through the wave and opponent so both the slash and shockwave connect, then dash to a safe side and build passive defense stacks. Do not rely on basic attacks for Lifesteal. In a close trade, Don't Run, Wolf King! interrupts twice and pulls the target toward the wave for multi-target Spell Vamp.
Stand where I'm Offended! can pull targets toward teammates or a turret, not away from allied damage. After the hook, use the circular double stun, dash across the desired escape path, and continue ranged slows. Preserve enough enemy or minion targets to heal from rather than chasing into empty space.
Front-line with the team and keep passive defense stacks active before Lord contact. Look for multi-hero pulls from fog or counter-engage on divers. Ruby is durable while casting and healing, but a long control chain can still kill her; track Suppression and strong anti-heal before committing.
Use passive hops to change angles between skills instead of returning to the same spot where enemy control is already aimed.
Use a short passive hop after every skill even when Ruby does not need distance, keeping her defensive stacks active through the trade.
Cast I'm Offended from the side of a formation so pulled enemies land together in front of allies rather than spreading around Ruby.
